Description

The Lactate Scout 4 lactate analyser is the improved version of the Lactate Scout +. This portable analyser, launched in November 2019, has the following main features:

• The results are displayed on the screen in just 10 seconds
• Only one drop of blood of 0.2 μl (microliters) is necessary
• It is a very easy to use portable analyser
• Simplified navigation to enable flexibility whilst training
• Includes a Bluetooth 4.1 connection (Smart Bluetooth) which is compatible with PCs, smartphones and tablets with that Bluetooth version. Any devices without version 4.1 will need to purchase the Bluetooth 4.1 Adapter
• Uses the same test strips as the previous models (Lactate Scout and Lactate Scout+)
• The sensors are pre-calibrated
• The analyser is calibrated by entering a code that is displayed on each can of test strips
• Lactate measurement value, date/time, measuring mode, temperature, heart rate and memory ID are shown on a single display
• It can be connected to heart rate monitors which are compatible to Bluetooth Low Energy for linking to lactate value
• Lightweight analyser weighing just 60 grams
• It can store up to 500 results
• Measuring range: 0.5 – 25 mmol/L
• Uses 2 x CR2450 batteries
