Lactate Scout 4: Launch of the New Lactate Analyser from EKF Diagnostics
Before long, the Lactate Scout 4 portable lactate analyser will be launched. This analyser is an improved version of the Lactate Scout + analyser, both developed by the German company EKF Diagnostics.
This small and lightweight portable lactate analyser weighs only 60 grams and is very easy to use. With just one drop of blood of 0.2 μl (microliters), it shows reliable results on screen in just 10 seconds.
As an innovation with respect to the previous version, it should be noted that the screen of this new analyzer is electronic paper or Epaper, which favors its visualization in movement and with lots of sunlight.
The new portable lactate analyser incorporates a Bluetooth 4.1 chip, which is compatible with devices that have Bluetooth Smart – Low Energy.
Please note that the test strips are the same as those used with the previous versions of this analyzer.

We will also sell the Bluetooth 4.1 Adaptor, an accessory that will allow to connect the Lactate Scout 4 lactate analyzer to any PC that does not have Bluetooth version 4.1
